The Success for All Foundation (SFAF) is a non-profit educational organization committed to enabling every child to read and succeed. It was founded in 1987 by Dr. Robert Slavin and Dr. Nancy Madden, who were both working as researchers at Johns Hopkins University. When Jenny moved to Richmond, BC, Canada in 2011, she determined that there is a need for a different approach to teaching Math and English to English language learners. Consequently, in 2014 she founded Success for All Canada. She opened the first Eye Level learning center in BC, and offered Eye Level Math and English programs to preK - Grade 12 students. Jenny's experience included working in small groups and one-on-one instructional coaching. Under her directorship, Eye Level Richmond North won several Eye Level awards and recognition, including: Best Practice Award 2017, Excellence Award 2017, Literary Award (Global Gold 2016, National Gold 2017), Critical Thinking Challenge Award, Oratacular Award (National Silver 2018, Bronze 2018), and Math Olympiad Award (Global Champion 2018, National Silver 2017, Bronze 2017) - at the Canada, National (USA), and Global levels.
Success for All Hong Kong
The Success for All program was introduced to Ms. Jenilyn Ledesma (Jenny) in early 2000s through a collaborative research project. Because of the effectiveness of the program, Jenny
founded the Success for All (SFA) Hong Kong in 2004 and have opened 4 learning centers to offer the program to Hong Kong students. The philosophy and objectives of SFAHK were aligned with the mission, vision, and values of the Success for All Foundation USA – “that every child can and will learn, although not always in precisely the same ways.” SFA programs were designed to provide the full array of activities and support that will help every child reach his or her fullest potential.
